Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services provided by Microcript Technologies (“Microcript”, “we”, “us”). Because we deliver custom professional services, refunds depend on the stage of work and the type of service.

1. Booking advance

The advance paid to start a project reserves our team’s time and covers initial work (discovery, planning, first drafts). It is non-refundable once work has begun.

2. Government fees & statutory charges

Fees paid to government departments or third-party authorities (for GST, MSME/Udyam, FSSAI, domain, hosting, payment gateways, etc.) are non-refundable once an application or purchase has been submitted, as these are paid to the respective authority and not retained by us.

3. Cancellation before work starts

If you cancel before we have started work, you are eligible for a full refund of any service fee paid (excluding third-party charges already incurred). Please email us to request cancellation.

Email hello@microcript.in with your invoice number and reason. We review every request fairly and, where a refund is due, process it to your original payment method within 7–10 working days.
